It's the word on the street: the best pizzas in Berlin are served at
A Magica in Prenzlauer Berg. We read about it in the Zitty Lieblingsrestaurants booklet and later our American friend K convinced us with her empirical research results: it's true. When she asked us if we want to join her for a pie, we jumped up and down with excitement to finally try this treat. What can I say – it is a good pizza and I'll go back for more. I had a buffala mozzarella, cherry tomato and basil pizza (€7,50); the dough was good and the base thin, the cheese was of high quality and I loved their tasty tomato sauce. Their red Nero D'Avola was cheap and lovely, too :) A Magica is small and gets very busy, so make a reservation or go early!
